Keep a copy and recover a page
Download HTML saves the file stored for that page. Export collection saves all your published and unpublished HTML plus titles and publication states in a ZIP. Keep it somewhere private. Tool inputs and earlier versions are not included.
To recover a page you still have, use Replace with the saved HTML to keep its link. A deleted page must be uploaded again and gets a new link. Exports are manual; automatic service backups have not been verified. Avoid changing pages while an export is being prepared.
Which HTML files work?
Single HTML files with embedded CSS and JavaScript are the best fit. HTTPS images and libraries can load if their provider allows it. Separate local files, server-side code, service workers and browser storage are not supported in this beta. Test your tool before sharing. Uploaded HTML is saved online; information entered inside a tool is not backed up or synchronized. Published links are accessible to anyone who has them.
